ROPES is a literary journal produced annually by MA students at the University of Galway. We are currently working on the journal’s 35th edition! Our team is dedicated to showcasing a broad and inclusive range of work by providing a platform to exhibit literature and art. Our journal has been home to the work of bright, emerging creatives, as well as pieces from more established writers such as Mike McCormack, Colm Tóibín, and Nuala O’Connor.
